Idli Podi


                             Whenever i prepare idli, my family screams for Idli Podi!
                             My family loves it.The best thing about this podi is that
                            you can also use it with rice and be satisfied!
                                                         So here is Idli Podi....

Ingredients:

 Urad dal-----------------1 cup
 Red chillies-------------4-5 nos
 Fried Chana Dal--------1 tablespoon
 sesame seeds------------2 teaspoon
 Curry leaves------------1/4 cup
 Asafoetida
(perunkayam)------------1 teaspoon
 Salt----------------------- to taste

Method:

 Firstly heat a pan on medium flame.

Then add urad dal, red chillies and curry leaves. fry it till its brown in color.

Thereafter add the seasame seeds,asafoetida(Peruṅkāyam)and salt turn off
 the flame and let it cool.

 Then grind it into a powder. you can use a sieve to make it into fine powder.

Your idli powder ready.

 you can use the podi with some oil ( gingelly oil makes it more delicious) or ghee.
