..............1/2 lemon size (make juice with 1cup of water)
Oil (gingelly oil or
sesame oil)...5-6tbsp
Curry leaves.....few
Coriander
leaves....few
Coconut paste
(optional).......2tbsp
Method:
1.Heat oil in a small
cooker in medium flame.
2.Fry the vendaikkai
vathal and remove from the cooker.
3 In the same oil,
add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds,
asafoetida,turmeric powder and saute a minute.

4.Now add
onion,garlic, tomatoes,all powders,fried
vendaikkai vathal and saute for 2-3 minutes.
5.Add tamarind juice,1cup of water, close the cooker lid

6.Once cool down the
cooker , open the cooker lid and
boiled for 2-3 minutes in lower flame.

7.Adding coconut
paste is optional.
8. Garnish with curry
leaves and coriander leaves.
9.If coconut paste is not added, add small piece of vellam(jaggery).
