Moor kuzhambu



                  



Ingredients:
                
                       



Curd------------------------- 2 cups

Tuwar dal ----------------- 1 tbsp  

Rice ------------------------1/2 tbsp 

Green chilies -------------2nos 

Onion ----------------------1 ( medium size ) finely cut

coconut -------------------1tbsp ( grated )

small onion---------------8 no s

Ginger---------------------1 inch
Cumin seeds ------------1 tsp
Turmeric powder ------1/4 tsp

Mustard seeds ---------1/4 tsp

Red chilly ---------------- 1 no

Asafoetida -------------- 1 pinch

Curry leaves ---------- few

Oil ------------------------2-3  tbsp

Salt --------------------- to taste
  
Any vada or cooked ladies finger
or cooked white pumpkin -----------------as needed

Method:



Soak Tuwar dal and rice together in water for 30 minutes.


Grind green chilies, cumin seeds ,ginger,small onion and coconut to a paste.

   


 
Then grind dal & rice also with this.   

                                                  
Mix well this curd, grounded paste and salt  
with 2 cups water in one bowl.   
           

                              
Heat a vessel and temper with oil, mustard seeds ,red chilly,curry leaves, asafoetida, onion, saute it till  its transparent and add turmeric powder.
 

                                                         

Then add this curd, grounded paste and salt mixer to this. 

                                           



Now heat simmer the flame till the contents start
rising up, mix till 1 min ,add cooked vegetables or 
any vadai and remove from flame.
