Dosa



                                                                  Dosa     serves .4-5
 
Ingredients:
Idly rice............................2 cups
Black gram (Urad dal).....1/2 cup
Fenugreek seeds...............1tbsp
Raw rice ..........................1/4 cup
Salt ..................................1 tbsp
Oil.................................... as needed

Method:

1. Soak the rice,urad dal, fenugreek seeds (methi) separately in
    water for 2-3 hours.

2. Grind the dal and methi in to a smooth and frothy batter by    
    adding 1 cup of water little by little. ( In wet grinder, it will 
     take minimum 20 minutes.

3. Transfer the urad dal batter into a vessel.

4. Grind the rice with 1 cup of water.

5. Mix the grounded rice and dal batter together with 
   salt ,1/2 cup of water and set aside in a warm place
   for 8-9 hours or overnight for fermenting. Ready to
   make dosa when the batter is well fermented.

6. After fermentation the batter should be kept in
    refrigerator.  Whenever make dosa can use the batter
    from the refrigerator.

7. From this dosa batter,can make different dosa 
   like roast dosa, egg dosa,masala dosa, onion dosa,
   ghee dosa and etc.
