Beetroot poriyal


 This poriyal has no masala, but tasty and easy also.When boiled    the whole beetroot, it has no raw small.

Ingredients:


Beetroot...............................2no
Onion...................................1no(finely cut)
Green chilli..........................2no
Mustard seeds.......................1tsp
Cumin seeds..........................1tsp
Curry leaves..........................few
Oil.........................................2tbsp
Salt........................................to taste

Method:

Boil beetroot with 1cup of water in press cooker for 1 whistle in medium flame and simmer for 5 minutes.


                 Once cool down, peal the skin and grated.

 
Heat a pan, add oil,mustard seeds,cumin seeds,curry leaves.


Then add onion, green chilli,salt and saute for few seconds.



  Once the onion becomes transparent, add grated Beetroot,
and saute till water content evaporate.


                              Garnish with grated coconuts.

                     Beetroot poriyal is side dish for any rice.
