Ingredients
Venthayakeerai (Methi leaves)......1bunch/1/4kgEgg.................................................4nos(boiled)
Big Onion......................................1 no finely cut (medium size)
Ginger garlic paste........................1tsp
Coriander powder..........................1tsp
Chili powder...................................2tsp
Cumin powder...............................1tsp
Turmeric powder............................1/4tsp
Garam masala.................................1/4 tsp
Oil...................................................2-3 tbsp
Salt..................................................as needed
Coriander leaves.............................few sprigs
For grind paste.
Oil...................1tbsp
Pattai...............1 inch
Onion..............2 nos chopped roughly
Cardamom......1 no
Tomatoes........3nos chopped
Heat 1tbsp oil in a pan,add pattai,cardamom and fry for 10 seconds.
Mix the onion and fry for 2-3 minutes.
Add tomatoes, saute for2-3 minutes and allow to cool.After that grind this to a paste.
Coconut paste...
Grated coconut........................1tbsp
cashew nuts.............................few(4-5nos)Roasted gram(pottukadalai)...1tsp
Grind to a paste with water.
Method:
Heat a kadai or pan with 2-3 tbsp oil,add ginger garlic paste,onion and fry for 2-3 minutes.add Venthayakeerai (Methi leaves) and cook.
After few minutes they get shrink in size.
Pour the grind paste,mix well and cook in a slow flame for2-3 minutes.
Add chili powder,coriander powder, cumin powder,turmeric powder,garam masala powder, mix with 1cup of water and covered.
Then cook for few minutes in slow flame.
Pour coconut paste,mix and let it come to boil.
Add boiled egg ,cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
Note
